My professional writing career began at Team Detroit on the Retail First digital team officially writing search copy and unofficially writing everything else. I undertook any assignment I could, developing as a writer with each successive day. Writing a variety of digital banners, homepage takeovers, radio and video spots has afforded me a unique opportunity to develop a varied writing background. Those experiences, combined with my previous career in teaching, quickly lead to me taking on a leadership role in my department. I look forward to expanding the scope of my writing and leadership in future projects and endeavors.
